Just you know, an update

So... it's been a while. Halloween was fantastic. The kids all looked so cute. Halloween was not a bust this year. So we were all happy, yay!

Thanksgiving was good. We went to Willy's family's and I was pleasantly surprised that everyone was so well behaved. I'm just a little bundle of negative energy because I was prepared for the worst, but it was good and Mallory's mom made the best stuffing every, yummy...

I love all my kids but my Eddie bear is quite a character. He made a cute little Christmas tree out of Popsicle sticks. He decided that his "tree" needed a name. He decide to call it Tony... Tony Sorensen. Um... I'm not sure where he picked this name from..but ok.

Then Eddie bear and Sasha wanted to play dress-up. With my clothes. Eddie looks fantastic in my high heels. That's not good, is it? Oh, so then... the next day Eddie and Sasha change their names. Sasha is now "Holly" and Eddie is "Ginger" (imagine my face)

I love my babies. So yeah, I'm kinda without a phone and internet and cable, but you know what? I have four beautiful children and a loving husband. What else could ask for? (maybe cookies)

Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year!!!

Nothing New

Ugh, I haven't updated because I've been sick (cough, cough) I'm feeling better, but not really. Everything is okay. William is still working at the farm. The kids are doing fantastic: Miguel is still struggling w/ homework. Eddie has a new toy octopus he names Squidy. Sasha is super tall and needs new pants, and Andi-bear is a cookie monster just like her mom. I'm trying to catch up in school and that's about it.
Oh, this weekend we went to go see William's cousin that is on leave. He's been in Iraq and has two weeks off to see family.
Um, other than that everything is hunky dory

Poor Bambi

Ugh, so I guess this weekend was the big deer hunt. Um, no comprendo. But I guess this is the the "thing" to do in Utah. I feel so bad for Bambi's mom...or dad.

So William busted out 3 knives, purchased 3 different kinds of bullets( shells) whatever, all kinds of orange clothes, and went a huntin' So after three days of trekking all over the mountainous hills he came back with.... NADA! Poor Willy. While hanging out with his family I found out he never actually has shot a deer. He's had help but hasn't actually got one on his own and yet every year he tries. He will succeed.

On the other hand, my brother in law, Jack, caught a big one. (so I assume) I really don't understand. Really I don't. Oh, and then you have to clean, skin, and fillet the poor creature and then stuff it in your freezer. EWWWWWW... no deer guts for me, thank you very much.

I want to know what the difference is with shooting a deer and tagging one? Isn't that the same thing? Huh? Lame.

I want to go back home and enjoy my favorite sports.... eating out and shopping!! Yay for all the outlets in CA.

Anyway, back to work...

The Kids

So everyone is recuperating from strep, asthma, and the like. I've got Eddie and William on inhalers. Eddie is doing better but that guy, William, will not give up smoking. The doctor told him he has a little bit of damage on his lungs and the kids heard and they started crying (well only Miguel) but still they got scared. I hope he realizes that the kids love him.

Anyways, this was supposed to be about the kids. I went to parent teacher conferences and my babies are doing fantastic. Eddie is doing above average in Math and Reading...(I'm not sure which parent he got that from, but I know not from me or his dad... strange)

Miguel is doing better. The teacher says Miguel is a wonderful student, but like always, he'll sit to do homework and then just zone out. He needs someone to sit with him.

I am very proud of both my boys. Yay for boys! I hope they stick with school and make their career goals come true.

My Little Bear

I'm so sad :-( my little Eddie bear is sick. I hate when he is sick. If you know my little bear he is really, really stubborn. If he doesn't know you or like you he will not talk to you. He knows me and he won't talk to me sometimes. So I ask him what is wrong and he just looks at me with his big brown eyes. Ugh.... So we went to the doctor and he has strep throat and his asthma is acting up too. He just called me and told me he wants me to go home, but my supervisor is MIA. (grrr)

Um, hi

I'm such a copycatter... I saw Stick's and Lauren's Blog and now I want to be cool too :-) I love doing things like this once I figure out how to use it. Now I can brag about my babies and me. Yay me! So... now what?? I guess I'll just figure out what to do later. I have to go back and pretend I'm working.
